KET’s Workplace Essential Skills for Transportation/Logistics allows learners to improve reading, writing, and math skills. Workers in transportation/logistics companies must be able to understand orders, communicate with co-workers, think independently, and make critical decisions related to customer service.  All order fulfillment and customer service is administered by teams of transportation/logistics workers, making the need for effective verbal and written communication imperative!

Math skills are also critical to the transportation/logistics industry. Learners can practice math conversions for shipping weights, analysis of supply and budgets for planning, synthesizing orders, charts, graphs related to moving goods from one location to another, and much more.  Lessons include embedded videos that are contextualized to the transportation/logistics sector, helping learners to stay focused as they apply the skills learned to work in those facilities.

This course also includes a bonus job search lesson that equips learners with skills for finding employment.

NOTE: Access granted for one full year per transaction per sector.
